    The ELA technology standards are very important within schools and teachers should know and follow them. I would like to become more prepared on all the ELA technology standards, so I can be an efficient teacher. I think the one that requires the most learning from my part would definitely be the writing standards. I think this because writing is my weakest element and I would like to become better at it.

    I think the technology software or applications I will be using is the Internet. I plan on teaching kindergarten or first grade and this is the most appropriate for them. As a teacher, I can pull up the websites for the younger kids and they would be able to use a computer or a tablet. Personally, I think this age group is still a little to young for the Internet, so they would not be on it too much.

    While making the Newsletter Design assignment, I used the new skills I learned in class. I learned how to add color for the whole page and how to create columns for the body of my work. I can use this type of skill in the future when I become a teacher, because I assume that I will be sending home newsletters to the parents. I liked this assignment because I will actually use it in the future, so it is not busy work.
